Description
Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds, including high-risk pregnancy scans in accordance with AIUM guidelines.
- Support maternal-fetal medicine specialists with advanced ultrasound imaging and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
- Accurately document and report findings using EMR systems.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography
- ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required; NT/NB and fetal echo certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a women's health or high-risk pregnancy setting.
- Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy and MFM protocols.
- Prior experience in a clinic or outpatient specialty practice (not just hospital-based imaging) is strongly preferred.
- Required: Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire). BLS certified
