Position Summary:

Works with Department Manager and Director to ensure the planning, coordination and provision of nursing care to patients on specified units and shifts. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to nursing and ancillary personnel, commensurate with their scope of practice. Promotes the use of best practices in the delivery of patient care. Facilitates Lean Daily Management activities. Works collaboratively with leadership to promote professional nursing practice and behavior

Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

Minimum one year previous Labor & Delivery experience; AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course every two (2) years.

Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

(1) BSN;

(2) Previous charge nurse experience acute care setting;

(3) RNC
