Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center

As the largest hospital in San Luis Obispo County, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center strives to produce optimal outcomes and exceptional patient experiences to the community it serves. Sierra Vista houses the largest Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit between Santa Barbara and Salinas, the only dedicated pediatric unit in San Luis Obispo County and serves as the county�s designated trauma center. Summary

• Provides respiratory care to patients.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system
• Performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers

Qualifications

Education Required:graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program Certifications Required:RCP or equivalent State licensure; CRT, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Experience Required: RCP NICU experience required; Neonatal Intubation experience required
Preferred: RRT

Pay Range: $41.75 - $56.11
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
