Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a transporter that can receive and transport patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated destination. They will document request for services in order to provide an accurate and timely tracking system. As our transporter, you will maintain wheelchairs, stretchers, and all other used equipment in clean and sanitary condition as well as proper working order (i.e.-oiling wheels of such equipment). You will complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
What your day will look like:
- Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another as needed.
- The Transporter cleans all equipment as assigned.
- The Transporter assists other employees as directed.
- May assist with clerical work in the department as time permits.
Success Factors:
- Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Preferred: Patient transportation or customer service experience
- Preferred: BLS
