Citizens Baptist Medical Center:Located in Talladega, this facility is equipped with 122 beds. Services offered include chest pain and stroke care; surgical services, including minimally invasive surgery; orthopedics, including rehabilitation; and psychiatric care.

Summary

Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.

Responsibilities
  • Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens.
  • Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education and staff meetings.

Education

Required: Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field.

Experience

Required: 1 year of experience

Certifications

Required: CPR
