POSITION SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities, as requested by a licensed physician.
Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Completes required exams.
• Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program, CT registry eligible

Experience

Required: 2 years clinical experience in more than one modality. ARRT CT registry eligible required
Preferred: ARRT CT

Certifications

Required: ARRT (R) and documentation of CT experience, must obtain advance credential in CT within one year of hire. BLS; CA Xray and Fluoroscopy; Current California CRT
