Qualifications:
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 1) Associate Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred. 2) Minimum 2 years acute care experience or equivalent. 3) RN skills as described for designated unit.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Current California RN license, BLS certification, ACLS (Required within 6 months of hire/transfer).
Unit specific certifications and competencies as required.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Communication is an essential skill requiring the ability to see, hear, and speak. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced, fluid environment of changing priorities. Requires advanced skills in word processing with the ability to establish and organize tables and excel documents. Requires accurate use and reconciliation of software systems and proprietary financial programs Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
