**Position could be part-time 24/hrs. or 36/hrs. full-time per week**

Our state-of-the-art Cath/EP cardiac catheterization lab recently received the American Heart Association Gold Plus award for STEMI care, meaning that our highly trained medical team consistently opens blocked arteries in heart attack patients in under 90 minutes. Our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses and technologists perform unforgettable services to our patients and offer wide range of services from routine outpatient diagnostic catheterizations to innovative advanced procedures for complicated cardiac diseases.

Our highly proficient and professional services providing unsurpassed outcomes for our patients include:

  • Percutaneous coronary interventions.
  • Coronary Arteriography
  • FFR
  • Intravascular ultrasound
  • Electrophysiology Lab
  • Cardiac ablations
  • 3D Mapping
  • Cardioversion
  • Implanted Cardioverter
  • Pacemaker Implementation

A typical day might include:

-Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures.
-Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics.
-Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
-Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures
-Responsibility for maintenance and quality control of equipment
-Cleans and packages instruments/supplies for sterilization
-Assumes role of monitor tech as needed

-Other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

We’re looking for someone with:

-High school graduate or equivalent

-Formal cardiovascular technology training preferred

-1 year health care experience

-1 year in cardiac cath lab

-Certifications required include:BLS; ACLS within 12 months of hire into position
