FCPP- Radiation/Oncology office- position is on-site in Turlock CA (NOT REMOTE)
Radiology/Oncology experience is highly preferred
The Coder works independently on a daily basis responsible for coding OP Ancillary, Clinic, and ED outpatient accounts with a high degree of accuracy.

- Review medical records to code patient charges
- Review physician documentation and perform audits to determine accuracy
- Updates late charges and processes in a timely manner
- Review tasks and corrects codes as needed
- Prepare reports as requested by operations team
- Provide training for physicians and staff to improve coding outcomes.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: High school diploma/GED required
Preferred: Associates Degree
Experience:
Required: At least 6 months of billing and coding experience
Certifications:
Required: Must be certified for outpatient coding.
Certifications may include one of the following: AHIMA (excludes CCA) OR Certified Professional Coder (CPC)/ Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) OR Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) etc.
In addition, candidate must be willing to obtain ROCC within the first two years of employment.

Pay Range: $27.67 - $42.88 hourly **Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
