Summary

The Asst. Nurse Manager is a professional nurse who manages the daily operations of a department (s)to provide services for patients while meeting quality, legal, organizational and medical staff goals.
Responsible for promoting the efficient operations to provide effective nursing care of a designated department (s).
Manages the department independently under the guidance of an Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, JCAHO and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Promotes optimum health care delivery within budgetary guidelines.
  • Is responsible for department(s) on a 24 hour basis.


Qualifications:

Education:Associate Degree, BSN preferred   
Experience:2-3 yrs RN experience in Labor & Delivery 
License REGISTERED NURSE  
Certification

BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)                                                                                                                                                    ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)                                                                                                                                                                   NRP (AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS)                                    

 AWHONN FETAL MONITORING (WITHIN 180 DAYS)
