$20,000 Sign On Bonus + Relocation Bonus
Summary
The Director of Laboratory leads and directs laboratory personnel whose primary responsibilities are the collection and testing of specimens in order to provide physicians timely accurate lab test results. The Director of Laboratory oversees a wide variety of administrative and technical activities; responsible for revenue and operating budgets and a personnel staff. Works closely with Pathologists. Insures compliance with regulations/standards and maintains accreditations and licensures. The Director of Laboratory demonstrates commitment and accountability for implementation, communication, and monitoring of all functions of the Laboratory.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science Specialty. Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor.
Preferred: Masters in Allied Health Specialty or Health Administration or Business.
Experience
Required: 5 years of progressive management experience in an acute care facility.
Preferred: Lab Director experience.
License
