OP Pediatric Speech Therapist Per Diem Days

Summary:
Our outpatient therapy center houses both adult and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy. We have recently moved to a newly renovated building on the St. Mary’s Medical Center campus. We are looking for a highly passionate and skilled pediatric physical therapist to join our team. Our speech therapists evaluate and treat patients from birth to 17 years of age with a variety of speech, language and feeding disorders. Our speech therapists treat patients in private treatment rooms. Our mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive therapy, focusing on enhancing the health, behavior, and functional performance of our patients through a multidisciplinary approach.
Job Duties:
- Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition
- Designs and implements a plan of care with functional goals
- Educates patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress
- Opportunities to train in other settings across the hospital campus (ie. acute care)
Experience: At least 1 year of pediatric experience preferred; feeding experience preferred
Education: Masters inCommunication Sciences and Disorders
Certifications/Licensure: State License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA; BLS (American Heart Association)
Shift: No Weekends
Schedule: Full-time
