Responsibilities
Summary
This role performs pre-employment nursing assessment on applicants; provides nursing care and assessment for injured employees, administers vaccines in accordance with policy and good nursing practice; managers the workers' compensation program for the hospital; maintains annual PPD files for all employees; managers the day-to-day operations of the clinic; collaborates with the Infection Control Coordinator by integrating infection control/employee health activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Certifications
- Required: Must be currently licensed for Florida as an RN, and hold BLS certification (AHA)
Experience
- Required: Three years of experience in the nursing field.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in Employee Health Occupational Nursing
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: CDC, NIH, Regulations, Drug Free Workplace Program
