Nurse Extern Program and Nurse Residency Program

Our programs offer the opportunity for a smooth transition into your career as a registered nurse.

Nurse Extern

For nurses who have completed their first clinical rotation, the nurse extern program lets you hone your bedside skills under a registered nurse's supervision. This is a paid position with a minimum of 24 hours per six week schedule.

Nurse Residency

After graduation from nursing school, the nurse residency program at Saint Francis extends nurse education and skills with direct clinical patient care and responsibilities.
