Receiving Clerk Full Time Days Position Summary
The Specialist will be responsible for overall supply chain operational support.
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Contract compliance monitoring
- Managing the maintenance of the Letter of Commitments and managing GPO Tier information.
- New facility adds/edits that are published through the Workflow, GL code on-going maintenance for accuracy, data clean-up and standardization related to Rostering facilities and supplies.
- Responsible for the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services from vendors.
- Evaluates purchase requisitions for completeness, contract compliance and conformity to Tenet policies and procedures.
- Converts approved requisitions into a compliant purchase order.
- Interacts with customers to assure needs are meet.
- Has knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures within Supply Chain procurement.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge and expertise within a service line to ensure compliance and identify best practices within the service line.
- Reports to the Supply Chain director, supervisor, or manager.
- Performs a variety of tasks as assigned
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
.This position requires a highly flexible and detail-oriented individual to with a thorough skill set to provide consistently accurate decision support to the corporate analytics, content management IMS team and Supply Chain leadership consistently.
Education: High school or equivalent, College degree preferred
Experience: 2+ yrs. experience in Supply Chain
