HVAC Lead Mechanic Full Time Days

Position Summary:
Maintains operating condition of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems equipment and completes repairs. Performs inspection, preventive maintenance, service, repair and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related control systems. Utilizes knowledge of fundamental HVAC systems in performing assignments. Operates common and specialized hand or power tools. Works with Supervisor/Manager and other members of section or department to promote harmonious work environment. Ensures that all contact with patients, the public, physicians and other hospital personnel are carried out in a courteous, helpful and considerate manner. Displays concern and provides assistance or explains procedures as appropriate callers or face-to-face situations.
Position Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience as a HVAC Mechanic
- Fundamental mechanical ability
Preferred:
- HVAC Mechanic certification
- Prior experience in Healthcare setting
Other Qualifications: Knowledge of working with hand and power tools. Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and be subject to policy “Facility Owned Vehicles, Employee Owned Vehicles Guidelines”
