Job Summary

Full Time Days

Position Summary:

Provides quality maintenance support of the facilities, utilities, and equipment components in support of the hospital-wide Safety and Utility Management Program. This position requires knowledge of general engineering maintenance in a hospital environment. Must be able to read, interpret and follow policies and procedures pertaining to plant operations in a professional manner. Must be able to perform verbal and written interaction with fellow employees and other departments.

Qualifications

Minimum: 

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Technical school training certificate

Experience: 5 Years trade experience, 2 years' hospital setting preferred

Other Qualifications: 

Knowledge of working with hand and power tools. Must maintain a valid Florida driver's license and be subject to
policy "Facility Owned Vehicles, Employee Owned Vehicles Guidelines"

West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County.
