Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem Rotate
Boca Raton, Florida West Boca Medical CenterPosition Summary:
Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Directly responsible for PET scan documentation and coordination of schedules. Directly responsible for all Gamma probe studies. Participates in the daily routine of Nuclear Medicine Scan procedures and including “On-Call”.
Minimum: Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Experience: Thorough knowledge of Nuclear Medicine in all forms of diagnostic, therapy procedures, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy.

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
1. National Registry NMTCB or ARRT (N)
2. State of Florida, DOH License
0. Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
