Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum: Registered Nurse and Bachelors Degree from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Preferred: Masters Degree in Nursing

Experience

  • Five (5) years nursing experience.
  • One (1) year management experience.

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse License
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • ONS within 90 days of hire

Position Summary

Serves as an administrative director over the Medical / Surgical department. Evaluates and coordinates services and care across the continuum. Collaborates with appropriate hospital services and departments. Ensures that quality patient care is delivered on a continuous basis through utilization of appropriate resources, staff, equipment, and budget.
