Job Summary

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

Full Time, Nights

Assess, treat, and cares for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Evaluate, monitor, and rehab lung function across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), if employee was credentialed by the NBRC on or after July 1, 2002, they must participate in the Credential Maintenance Program to maintain your NBRC credentials. Credentials awarded prior to July 1, 2002, are not subject to the Credential Maintenance Program

Graduate of a two (2) year AMA approved Respiratory Care Program Required

Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy 
Other Qualifications:

Must be licensed by the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulations and have current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS

Therapists working in NICU must have a current NRP certification

Minimum requirements:

A minimum of two (1) year post-graduate clinical experience in Respiratory Care procedures

West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other in Coconut Creek, are open 24-hours a day. Join our team!
