- Contacts patients to advise of their portion due for co-payments and deductibles upon registration.
- May take credit card payments and issue receipts.
- Documents all insurance verification information in MS4 and notates patient account with benefit rates in and out of network amounts in order for cashier to properly credit account when insurance remits.
Responsible for verifying insurance for all inpatient and scheduled outpatient admissions.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Required: 2-3 years of prior direct insurance verification experience. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.
Preferred: Additional languages.
Tenet Healthcare/TPR complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
