Workforce Optimization Program Manager

Who We Are
Job Summary
Reporting to the Workforce Operations Strategy & Optimization Leader, this role will focus on driving operational process optimization and efficiencies through all aspects of the workforce. This includes identifying opportunities, being involved in solution design, technology selection and integration, and implementation. Specifically, this role will lead the project management components of this work while bringing to bear subject matter knowledge in talent acquisition, HR processes, onboarding, orientation, and labor management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workforce operations, which may include TA, HR or labor/productivity, process improvement methodologies, and project management.
Responsibilities
Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
- Analyze current workforce and recruitment workflows and tools and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop, document, and implement scalable processes to enhance user experience and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and other departments to improve systems and tools.
Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
- Manage and report out on recruitment and workforce-related projects, such as system implementations, process automation, and reporting enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights and stakeholder feedback.
Data & Technology Management
- Support monitoring workforce metrics and KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to optimize the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS), core HR, onboarding and other systems
- Support system migrations, integrations, and user training
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
- Serve as a key resource for recruiters, hiring managers, and HR teams in process implementation and troubleshooting.
- Provide training and documentation to ensure alignment with updated policies and systems.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar field (an additional 5 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment operations, HR project management, or process improvement
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including building and analyzing pivot tables and using VLOOKUP functions for data management and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of workforce technology, which can include applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR Technology, or labor/productivity systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare recruiting or workforce management environments
- Familiarity with ATS, CRM, workforce planning, or HR systems
- Experience supporting large-scale change initiatives or system rollouts
- Knowledge of recruiting metrics, workforce analytics, and reporting
- Comfortable leading virtual live training sessions, developing clear user guides, and providing end-user support during new process or system launches.
- Project management certification or formal training (e.g., PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
Compensation
- Base pay: $85,250 - $120,000annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
