Job SummaryThis position is responsible for identifying, analyzing and reconciling billing errors or omissions. Reviews patient account records and third-party payer issues.
Responsibilities- Responsible for identifying, analyzing and reconciling billing errors or omissions
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within Perioperative Services
- Work with Physician Practice patients, providers, and staff to identify problem areas.
- Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other staff are carried out
- in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner.
- Performs duties as assigned
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor s Degree preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS required
- Requires a minimum of two to four years of experience in the field or in a related area. Healthcare background is strongly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word and Outlook).
- Ability to work well with other team members and consultants in remote offices as well as independently.
