Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience

Position Summary

The EP/Cath Lab Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP), including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Minimum:

  • Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or
  • Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI/CVT) or
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program

 

EXPERIENCE

  • One- year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, EP Laboratory preferred.

 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

  • Radiologic Technologist
  • Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
  • Florida License CRT
  • RCIS within 12 months of hire required.
  • AHA ACLS Certification
  • AHA BLS Certification

    or
     
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • AHA ACLS Certification
  • Registry or Certification of Cardiovascular Technologist, RCES or RCIS within 12 months of hire.
     

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Field of expertise: Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Able to perform effectively in a complex, patient centered environment
