Position Summary
Coordinates the Medical Staff, Allied Health Professional and Clinical Assistant initial and reappointment credentialing and privileging processes to enable practitioners to fulfill their duties and obligations. Performs administrative and support processes to support Medical Staff Services (MSS). Promotes and enhances good communication and a positive working relationship with the Medical Staff Services (MSS) team and between Hospital Administration and the Medical Staff.

EDUCATION:
Minimum: Post high school diploma education, technical school, or related training
Preferred: Associates degree or CPCS Certification (or working toward certification); medical terminology
EXPERIENCE: Credentialing experience (strongly preferred) or related/transferable skills required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
