- Ensures safe transportation of patients and specimens according to department policy and procedures on a daily basis as assigned by nursing team

Position Summary
A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing supportive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN in the provision of patient care and tending to the unit needs as assigned by the RN.
EDUCATION
- Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
- American Heart Association BLS
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively and multitask; excellent listening skills; courteous and empathetic demeanor.
