Position Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all-incoming and out-going supplies and equipment from the Central Supply Storeroom. Maintains accountability and control of all supplies in the respective areas. Responsible for ensuring that all orders are processed according to schedules. Verifies the orders to ensure that staff completes tasks in a timely fashion. Assists Receiving in all incoming shipments of supplies and equipment. Also responsible for the orderly storage of supplies/equipment in the respective areas and distribution of supplies/equipment throughout the hospital campus. Conducts cycle counts and maintains inveitory. Backs up the Materials Management Manger with all functions, as needed. Coordinates all Omnicell processes and procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
• Minimum: High School Graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years’ distribution experience.
• Prior experience working in a health care setting. Able to negotiate a minivan or a larger transport truck.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
• Valid Florida driver's license.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
•
Good written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills; 35/40 wpm typing with few errors; statistical typing. Ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle.
