You'll practice in a state-of-the-art Heart Hospital supported by a dedicated EP Nurse Practitioner and a fully integrated administrative infrastructure — so you can stay focused on patients, not paperwork. This is a full-time employed position offering clinical balance, a manageable census, and the resources of a major academic medical center behind you.
Position Highlights- Specialty: Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Practice setting: Detroit Medical Center Heart Hospital and surrounding outpatient sites — part of an award-winning system including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers and tertiary care referral centers
- Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week with 1–2 clinic days per week; remaining time split between rounding and EP lab procedures
- Patient volume: Light census with an approximately 60/40 outpatient-to-inpatient mix
- Team structure: Supported by a dedicated EP Nurse Practitioner
- Administrative support: In-house billing, coding, collections, website development, and marketing services handled on your behalf
