Why Detroit

Detroit is a city in the middle of a compelling comeback — a dynamic mix of industrial legacy, world-class arts, and a cost of living that gives you genuine quality of life. The Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and a nationally celebrated food and restaurant scene anchor a cultural life that punches well above the city's reputation. Outdoor enthusiasts have easy access to the Detroit River, miles of bike and hiking trails, and dozens of surrounding lakes for water sports. Families benefit from strong schools, respected universities, and an affordable metro area that makes putting down roots here one of the best-kept secrets in the Midwest.
