Job Summary

Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a high-acuity Neurosurgery service supporting DMC Harper University Hospital, Sinai-Grace Hospital, and Detroit Receiving Hospital. This position offers a dynamic mix of operating room first assist and inpatient responsibilities across a busy, multi-hospital academic environment. The incoming PA will work closely with neurosurgeons and interdisciplinary care teams, providing comprehensive care to complex neurosurgical patients.

This role is ideal for a motivated Physician Assistant who enjoys fast-paced hospital-based medicine and is looking to expand their surgical and inpatient skill set while practicing at the top of their license.

Position Highlights
• Full-time Neurosurgery Physician Assistant opportunity in Detroit, MI with Detroit Medical Center
• Coverage across DMC Harper University Hospital, Sinai-Grace Hospital, and Detroit Receiving Hospital
• 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights
• Combination of operating room first assist and inpatient responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons, residents, nursing, and ancillary staff
• Exposure to a broad range of neurosurgical pathology in a high-volume environment

Required: PA licensure; DEA eligible. Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.
