Description:
SUMMARY
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.
2503010489Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Nursing Assistant Certification or a minimum 1 year of experience performing nursing assistant duties in acute care nursing/hospital setting.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification is preferred but not required.
- Current BLS for health care providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification Required
- Newly hired Nurses must obtain certification within 6 months of Date of Hire.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills. Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment.
