Responsibilities

Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN

Summary

The Intensive Care / Coronary Care Registered Nurse / RN is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization and other critically ill patients in the units. The Intensive Care / Coronary Care Registered Nurse / RN responds to code and emergent situations as a team member within the hospital. The Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the intensive care / coronary care setting.

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Certifications

Required:

  • Current RN / Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas or compact state required
  • BLS
  • ACLS-RN’s with more than 1 year of experience should obtain certification within 6 months of employment. New RN/GN, ACLS, within 12 months of hire.
