Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Current Pharmacist license from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • Completion of ACPE course in the preparation of sterile products.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Automix, Clinitec, BAXA, Micromedix, AS400 Order Entry (if applicable), Worx (if applicable), Dino System (if applicable), PYXIS System (if applicable), knowledge of State and Federal Laws, verbal and written skills in English, no addictions, available to work various shifts as needed, able to effectively interact with all levels of hospital employees, completion of ACPE course (preferred) in the preparation of sterile products.

Staff Pharmacist provides quality pharmaceutical services to hospital inpatients and to a very limited extent to hospital outpatients.
