About Coastal Carolina Hospital
Coastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC. Opened in 2004, CCH joined the healthcare system in 2007 and serves patients in Bluffton, Okatie, Hardeeville and surrounding counties through its care team of over 400 colleagues and over 70 physicians. The hospital provides many services to the community including a 24-hour emergency department, a dedicated Women’s Pavilion, and robotic-assisted minimally-invasive surgery. Clinical Pharmacist PRN Weekender Evening Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, the staff pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and rational distribution and utilization of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages. This shall be carried out in accordance with all state and federal laws, JCAHO Standards, and hospital or departmental policies and procedures.
THE CLINICAL PHARMACIST PRN WEEKENDER EVENING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education:
1. Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of South Carolina.
Experience:
1. One year of hospital pharmacy experience in unit dose and IV admixture preferred.
Other Qualifications:
1. Maintain S.C. license through continuing education.
2. Excellent communication skills and ability to relate effectively to hospital staff, department heads, administration and medical staff.
Hours : Saturday and Sunday 12pm - 9pm
One weekend a month or option for more
