Our Story

We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. At Hi-Desert Medical Center (HDMC) we've been caring for our community for over 40 years. Our Continuing Care Center (CCC), located on the campus of HDMC, provides specialized care to residents close to their own communities, with spectacular panoramic views of desert landscapes for both residents and their guests

Position Summary

Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents according to the principles and practices of physical therapy.

Position Specifications


Physical demands:

· May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases, body fluids and wastes

· Heavy physical effort, including lift/carry up to 50 lbs

· Prolonged standing/walking, bending and squatting

· Must be able to lift, position and transfer patients/residents and equipment


Working Conditions:

· Handles Emergency or Crisis Situations


Minimum Education/Certification/Experience:

· Current California Physical Therapy License

· Current BLS CPR certification

Shift: Days

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday
