Summary

Responsible for operating ultrasound scanning equipment to make abdominal, vascular and / or obstetric images of the body. Positions and instructs the patient for imaging exams, adjusting and/or calibrating equipment as needed. Ensures all hospital mandated safety precautions are followed. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Education:

Major: Radiological Science

Supportive Course Work: Biology, Anatomy and Physiology

License/Certifications: Board certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. RDMS (OB) and RVT (VT) Required. Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Experience: 3-5 Years

Pay range: $47.33 - $73.34

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
