Pharmacy Tech Supervisor Full Time Days Position Summary

The individual in this position will supervise all Pharmacy technician staff, under the supervision of the licensed pharmacist. Oversee Pharmacy technician preparation, packaging, delivering, and charging of medication orders ensure efficient technician workflow and optimal automation operations. Maintain adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications. Interview, hire, train and evaluate Pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities:

Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.  Effective interpersonal and communication skills.  Ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Education:

Required: High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Experience:

Required: 3 years hospital experience

Certifications:

Required: Registered Pharmacy Technician license. Pharmacy Technician certification (both based on state requirements)

Physical Demands:

Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs. of force. Frequent standing and walking. Frequent reaching, stooping, and bending. Manual dexterity, mobility, touch, auditory to perform all the related duties of the position
