As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Memphis features a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services and specialty areas including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/ Surge and Telemetry.

Stroke Program Coordinator Full Time Days Position Summary

Plans for and supervises the daily activities of Clinical services Department; works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of Disease Specific Care for Stroke and Sepsis, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing education and training, data collection, analysis and reporting, performance improvement and community outreach. This will be achieved through consultation with physicians and collaboration with the, EMS, and all hospital department directors and staff.


Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the department operating and capital budgets, supervises daily operations of assigned departments
  • Assists in selection of personnel, takes appropriate actions regarding counseling, disciplinary actions
  • Maintains accurate records of all procedures performed
