Reporting to the Emergency Department Director, the Trauma Registrar supports the unit by coordinating communications, performing order entry functions, maintaining files, and providing clerical support.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:   

High school graduate preferred.                

Minimum Experience/Skills:        

Minimum of Four years of experience as unit secretary in similar department preferred, knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer knowledge, such as word processing, spreadsheet. 
Familiar with Trauma Registry entry and data collection
