Description:

SUMMARY

Provides Employee Health and Workers Compensation services and assistance to all staff members. Responsible for the prevention and intervention services for the employees of the hospital.

Provides health services to Employees, Physicians, Licensed Independent Practitioners, Volunteers, and Contract Service staff and provides customer service in employee health functions. Processes new employees through the pre-hire process. First aid and care is provided to injured/ill employees. Assists with equipment monitoring and logging relative to temperature and calibration. Maintains accurate Employee Health records and databases. Assists with Workers Compensation injuries. Mandatory and elective immunizations are administered to employees, physicians, LIPs, volunteers, and contracted staff using safe nursing practice. Keeps abreast of developments in the field of Employee Health/Occupational Medicine, and OSHA/CDC, Joint Commission, and AHCA regulations.

Education:

Required:  Graduate of Allied Health Program and completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program.

Experience:

Required: 2 years of experience

Certifications:

Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS
