Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience
Job Summary
Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists nuclear medicine studies per established protocols. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine Technologists
Licenses, Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
- Certification by the Imaging Services Medical Director to inject radioisotopes
Minimum Experience
Minimum Experience Graduate of an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Board eligible. Must obtain Board Certification or Registry within 6 months of date of hire.
Physical Requirement
- Physical Requirements Working Conditions:
- Subject to normal working conditions, lighting and ventilation.
- Risk of exposure to infectious diseases and radioactive isotopes.
- Risk of contact with caustic and toxic chemicals.
- Frequently working in dimly lit environment with moderate noise level.
- On-call duty.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Constantly required to communicate with physicians, patients and staff.
- Frequently required to stand, sit, bend, lift, stoop, push and pull.
- Frequently required to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Occasionally required to lift over 40 pounds with assistance of staff members and/or approved lifting devices.
