Responsibilities
- Functions as an advanced nurse practitioner with the guidelines of the hospital clinical protocol for all inpatient non-critical care patients.
- Coordinates/communicates staff development.
- Performance Improvement
- Demonstrates leadership skills
Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum: MSN, ARNP from accredited nursing school
Experience:
- 2 – 3 years recent acute care experience, preferably working as a Nurse Practitioner
Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida,
- BLS,
- ACLS, approved by the American Heart Association, (ER ONLY)
- CPI Certification and
- PALS (AHA)

Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with the CR & PR Medical Director, Referring Physicians, and nursing team by providing clinical management/supervision, which is safe and of high quality, using critical thinking skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of non-critical care inpatients, according to protocol(s) established by the Hospital.
