Job Summary
Job Shift: Nights
Job Type: Full Time
The Patient Care Tech assists the nursing staff with the provision of basic adult patients. Assist nursing staff with the provision of basic care to include: vital signs, hygiene and monitoring. Measures and records patients intake, out puts, and temperatures (oral, auxiliary, and rectal) and advises supervisor of any abnormalties promptly. Documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record. This position will also perform the role of Unit Secretary as needed. Provides clinical and reception support and manages supply procurement, receipt and storage for the unit as directed by the Charge Nurse and/or Director. Enters orders/tests accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Required: None
License:
- Required: Florida C N A Licensure
Certifications:
- Required: Certified Nursing Assistant Program completion, BLS (AHA), Healthy Interventions within 30 days of hire
- Preferred: Phlebotomy experience
