POSITION SUMMARY

Demonstrates the ability to organize, problem solve, and manage multi-tasking, prioritize, communicate effectively, and makes independent decisions related to completion of assigned tasks. Oversees the coordination of room scheduling and catering requests for the Baptist Medical Center. Oversees the generation of daily operational reports as well as month end reports. Works closely with the Director of Dietary Services as well as other management positions within the Dietary Services Department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 2 years college or technical business training

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: NA

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience in business/office management in healthcare/food service setting.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District or ANSI Accredited Food Manager Certificate

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): NA
