$15,000 Sign-On Bonus available

POSITION SUMMARY

Under minimum supervision, functions as a role model, facilitator, educator, leader, and consultant to staff and management personnel.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. The role will be largely PCU and residency coordinator focused.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in area of specialization

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years clinical experience in nursing. Demonstrates proficiency in computer word
processing and presentation software. Displays ongoing competence in area of expertise.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in Staff Development or Nursing Education

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possesses current Texas State Nursing License

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certification in Professional Staff Development and/or Clinical
Specialty

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life
Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of
hire.
