Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master Degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years in managed care, provider relations, or business development. Extensive understanding of Medicare Advantage and Managed Medicaid dynamics. Must have strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Must be able to analyze market trends and develop actionable plans. Experience in outreach and engagement with employer groups is a plus.

SUMMARY

Represents Baptist Health System in contract negotiations and renegotiations with managed care organizations. Acts as liaison between the System and managed care organizations. Disseminates information to appropriate parties regarding new or renegotiated contracts. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
