Job SummaryResponsible for the oversight and management of the Materials Management Department which includes but is not limited to the management of supplies, inventory, and materials logistics operations within the hospital. In addition, development, implementation, management and financial evaluation of the materials supply flow, appropriate inter-departmental and medical staff communications and the execution of economically sound models of product distribution and availability. Also assists other BHS personnel in product value analysis, standardization, and change systems as they relate to the supply chain. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or 10 years experience in supply chain management position
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Masters Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years in a management position, supervising multiple personnel. Distribution management required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Healthcare experience desirable
