Job Summary
Responsible for verifying insurance for all inpatient and scheduled outpatient admissions.
Responsibilities
Contacts patients to advise of their portion due for co-payments and deductibles upon registration.
May take credit card payments and issue receipts.
Documents all insurance verification information in MS4 and notates patient account with benefit rates in and out of network amounts in order for cashier to properly credit account when insurance remits.
Qualifications
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Required: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.
Preferred: Additional languages.
