POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinates the Performance Improvement, Compliance and Education for the Baptist Health System Ancillary/Clinical Departments. Works with departments to achieve their highest contribution to the goals and objectives of the system. Provides support for performance, patient safety, quality, accreditation and compliance with applicable regulatory agencies. Tracks, analyzes and reports performance information, to include pathology or radiology, to administrative and medical staff leadership. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or related health science specialty certificate
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Graduate courses preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 4 years in a hospital setting in either a laboratory or imaging department with documented quality assurance, safety, and teaching experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated leadership and management skills are required.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE : Radiology: Possession of a Registry of Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and one other registry. Possession of current Texas Department of State Health Services License. Laboratory: Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology or equivalent
