Summary
Provides specialized support to Baptist Health System with administrative, functional, technical and operational responsibility for a
highly complex dedicated data management system. General duties include management of the system, including, but not limited to,
data entry, development of specialized spreadsheets, maintaining specialized databases, analysis of data for trends, outlying events, and
management, productivity and risk reports. Provides system and user security for some of the system’s most sensitive information,
including claims, legal liability cases, suits, ongoing investigations of incidents and sensitive physician, employee and patient data.
Provides system training, consultation, and support to virtually all BHS departments. Provides special emphasis to systems that support
Legal Affairs and Risk Management departments. Responsibilities extend to corporate offices and all five system hospitals and outlying
facilities. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Education and experiential background in health care related field with a focus on
communication skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 4 or more year's experience in healthcare related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous hospital or Risk Management experience
